BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Miami Hurricanes picked the wrong day to come out flat.
Miami had a chance to clinch a share of the Atlantic Coast Conference title Saturday at Virginia Tech. Instead, the Hurricanes were blitzed by the Hokies, 77-62.

Virginia Tech went on a 10-2 run in the second half after Miami cut the lead to 39-33 on a 3-point shot by Angel Rodriguez with 14:29 remaining.
Justin Bibbs led the Hokies with 19 points.
Davon Reed matched Bibbs with 19 points for the 'Canes.
The loss prevented Miami from clinching at least a share of the ACC regular-season title.
