Hurricanes to host Rutgers in ACC/Big Ten Challenge

Game to be held at BankUnited Center on Nov. 30

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Miami Hurricanes will host Rutgers in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

The game will tip tip-off at the BankUnited Center on Nov. 30.  An exact game time will be announced at a later date.

Miami finished last season with a 27-8 record, making it to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament before falling to eventual champion Villanova.

The Hurricanes are 4-5 all-time in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, winning their last two appearances against Illinois and Nebraska.

Duke will play host to Michigan State and North Carolina will visit Indiana in the marquee matchups of the event.

The other matchups include Minnesota at Florida State, Wake Forest at Northwestern, Syracuse at Wisconsin, Pittsburgh at Maryland, Iowa at Notre Dame, Georgia Tech at Penn State, North Carolina State at Illinois, Purdue at Louisville, Ohio State at Virginia, Virginia Tech at Michigan, and Nebraska at Clemson.

The Tar Heels beat the Hoosiers in an East Regional semifinal in March.

The only ACC team left out of the challenge this year is Boston College, which finished last season in last place.
