ATLANTA – Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton is not in the lineup against the Braves in Atlanta on Friday, meaning the $325 million dollar power hitter will miss a third consecituve game with soreness in the right side of his torso.

The Fish have won both games without Stanton, having scored nine runs in Thursday's 9-1 win over the Rays.

Justin Bour was listed in Stanton's clean-up spot in the lineup Friday.

Christian Yelich was also left off the line-up for the series opener in Atlanta.

This will be the seventh straight game Yelich will miss with back spasms.

"We've talked all year that we've got to find a way, every day, no matter what," Miami manager Don Mattingly said after Wednesday's win without two of his outfielders. "No matter what lineup we throw out there, no matter who's pitching, no matter who we are facing, we have to try and find a way to put wins on the board every day, and we are capable of doing that."
