Report: Dion Jordan to apply for re-instatement

Former first-round pick plans comeback

DAVIE, Fla. – According to USA Today, Dion Jordan will be applying for re-instatement on Wednesday.

The Dolphins drafted Jordan with the No. 3 pick in the 2013 draft.

Jordan was suspended for over a year because of a failed drug test.

Jordan told USA Today, "I'm not about to waste it.  I can't waste it.  And I (expletive) love doing it."

Jordan claims he has been drug-free since December 2014.

According to the report, Jordan's re-instatement will be decided by commissioner Roger Goodell after talking with doctors who will interview Jordan.
