Former Florida State and current Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham was arrested by Miami Beach police.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A former Florida State and current NFL linebacker was arrested Monday in Miami Beach after he broke another man's nose during a fight at a South Beach hotel, police said.

Nigel Bradham faces a charge of aggravated battery stemming from the July 21 incident at the Hilton Bentley Miami/South Beach.

According to a Miami Beach police arrest affidavit, Bradham got into an argument with an employee at the hotel when he, without provocation, punched the victim in the nose, causing him to fall to the ground.

The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center to be treated for his injury.

Police said Bradham was arguing with the victim about his speed of service.

Bradham turned himself in Monday at the Miami Beach Police Department. He was arrested and invoked his right to remain silent.

The former Florida State linebacker was a team captain for the Seminoles as a senior in 2011. He led the team in tackles for three consecutive years, finishing with 306 tackles and 21.5 sacks.

Bradham signed a two-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason. The 2012 fourth-round draft pick spent the past four seasons with the Buffalo Bills.

He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 2.
