Dolphins sign linebacker, waive wide receiver

Fins add depth at LB

DAVIE, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins may have the day off from practice and training camp on Wednesday, but the front office remained busy by making a signing.

The Fins announced the signing of linebacker Danny Lansanah, who started 11 games for the Buccaneers in 2015, totaling 47 tackles while making 28 solo tackles for the Bucs.

Lansanah has played three seasons in the NFL, totaling 22 starts for the Packers and Buccaneers.

He was signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2008.

Lansanah is not a new face at Fins camp because he spent time on the team's practice squad back in 2009.

The Dolphins also announced they waived injured wide receiver Tyler Murphy.
