DAVIE, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins traded defensive end Chris McCain to the New Orleans Saints on Monday in exchange for an undisclosed draft pick, according to a media release.
McCain joined the Dolphins as an undrafted college free agent in 2014. He played in 19 games over the past two seasons with the Dolphins, recording six solo tackles and two sacks while recovering one fumble.
The 24-year-old played college football at California. He was dismissed from the team after four games of his junior season in 2013 for conduct detrimental to the team.
