PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. ā Miami is a unanimous selection to end its six-game skid against Florida State in this week's college football picks.
The 10th-ranked Hurricanes are undefeated prior to playing the No. 23 Seminoles for the first time since 2013. Although Miami is the better team on paper, the Hurricanes haven't beaten their state rival from Tallahassee since 2009 and haven't won in South Florida since 2004. Will this be the year?

Local 10 News sports director Will Manso, sports reporter Clay Ferraro, meteorologist Julie Durda and investigative reporter Amy Viteri seem to think so.
The group is split on Notre Dame at North Carolina State. Julie and Amy are siding with the Wolfpack, while Will and Clay put their faith in the Fighting Irish.
Amy is alone in picking Florida International to beat UTEP on the road. She's also alone in picking Texas to beat Oklahoma in Dallas. The Longhorns were the only team to beat playoff-bound Oklahoma in the regular season last year.
Hurricane Matthew took a toll on this week's slate of games. Central Florida rescheduled its home game against Tulane until Nov. 5, while Florida indefinitely postponed its home game against Louisiana State. Florida Atlantic moved its home game against Charlotte from Saturday to Sunday. The Owls are another unanimous choice to win.
