MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Make it six straight wins for the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins took care of business at home against the now 1-10 San Francisco 49ers.

Miami won 31-24.

The 49ers got on the scoreboard first when Colin Kaepernick hit Carlos Hyde for an 11-yard touchdown.

The Dolphins tied the score at 7 on a Jay Ajayi 2-yard touchdown in the 2nd quarter.

The Dolphins took a 14-7 lead when Ryan Tannehill hit Dion Sims for a 16-yard touchdown.

In the 3rd quarter, Kiko Alonso picked off Kaepernick to set up a field goal.

Miami led 17-7.

Kaepernick responded with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Garrett Celek to cut Miami's lead to 17-14.

Later in the 3rd quarter, Tannehill hit Kenny Stills for a 43-yard touchdown and a 24-14 lead.

Miami extended the lead to 31-14 when Tannehill hit Leonte Carroo for his first career touchdown.

The 49ers cut that lead to 10 with just under 8 minutes left.

Kaepernick hit Torrey Smith on a 1-yard touchdown.

The Dolphins were able to stop Kaepernick on the final play of the game within their own 5-yard line.

The Dolphins play at Baltimore next Sunday.
