MOBILE, AL – The Dolphins provided medical updates Wednesday on two of their biggest stars as the media was informed there's been no final decision yet on whether quarterback Ryan Tannehill will have knee surgery while defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh previously had a minor knee procedure.
A "minor knee clean out" at the end of the season is the reason why Suh will miss the Pro Bowl this Sunday in Orlando.
Mike Tannenbaum, Dolphins executive vice president of football operations, revealed the news about Tannehill and Suh to the media on Wednesday during Senior Bowl preps at Mobile, Alabama.
Suh's minor procedure will keep him from playing alongside Miami teammates Cameron Wake, who like Suh was selected as a starter, and Jarvis Landry and Jay Ajayi who were selected as injury replacements for the Pro Bowl.
Suh has never missed a game in his NFL career.
Bills defensive tackle Kyle Williams will replace Suh on the AFC Pro Bowl roster.
