MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Orange Bowl will once again be played under the lights.

ESPN on Wednesday announced the dates and kickoff times for all the bowls being televised by its family of channels during the 2017 season.

The 84th annual Orange Bowl will be played Dec. 30 at 8 p.m. at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. It will be televised on ESPN.

Florida State held off a late rally from Michigan in last year's Orange Bowl to defeat the Wolverines 33-32.

The Atlantic Coast Conference champion or the next-highest-ranked ACC team will meet a team from the Southeastern Conference, Big Ten Conference or Notre Dame in this year's game.

An ACC team has played in every Orange Bowl since 2006.
