CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami Hurricanes postseason streak has been snapped.

Miami's baseball team had made the NCAA tournament for 44 straight seasons. That ended this year.

The NCAA tournament selection committee left the 'Canes (31-27) out of the bracket for the first time since 1972.

Miami won two games at the ACC tournament before being knocked out.

Florida State now owns the nation's longest winning streak. The Seminoles earned their 40th consecutive NCAA tournament berth Sunday with a victory against North Carolina to win the Atlantic Coast Conference championship.
