Marlins deny Forbes report they agreed to sell team to Jorge Mas

Herald reports no agreement in place

MIAMI – Moments before the Miami Marlins hosted the Home Run Derby on Monday night, Forbes reported that the Marlins had agreed to sell the team to Jorge Mas, but the Miami Herald reports the team is vehemently denying they have reached an agreement with Mas.

In fact, the Herald reports that Mas, a Miami businessman, hasn't even made a formal offer yet to buy the Marlins.
