Punter Palardy to sign 1-year deal with Dolphins, source says

MIAMI – A person familiar with the negotiations says punter Michael Palardy has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins.

The person confirmed the agreement on the condition of anonymity because the Dolphins hadn’t announced it.

Palardy grew up in South Florida and attended St. Thomas Aquinas. He has a career average of 45.3 yards in six seasons with Carolina.

Matt Haack is a free agent. Miami’s punter for the past four years has a career average of 44.7 yards.
