DAVIE, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans swapped linebackers on Sunday, although each player brings different skill sets to their respective new teams.

The Dolphins pick up inside linebacker Benardrick McKinney in exchange for pass rusher Shaq Lawson, per multiple reports.

McKinney made the Pro Bowl in 2018 and registered a career-high 129 tackles in 2016.

Lawson was signed by Miami in 2020 and had four sacks during his one season with the Fins.
