ATLANTA – Luiz Araujo scored for the home side as Atlanta United earned a 2-0 victory over Inter Miami.
Rocco Rios Novo stopped all three shots he faced to earn the clean sheet for Atlanta.

Following the victory, United is now 5-5-4.
The loss snapped a four match unbeaten streak for Miami.
Inter Miami, which has fighting to get into a playoff position in the MLS’ Eastern Conference following an abysmal start to the season, fell to 5-7-3.
Miami currently sits two points back of Charlotte FC for the final playoff spot while Sunday’s win propelled Atlanta one point ahead of Miami and one point behind Charlotte.
