Hurricanes to visit Minnesota in Big Ten-ACC Challenge

Miami has won 3 straight games in annual conference grudge match

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Miami will travel to Minnesota this year for the annual Big Ten-ACC Challenge in late November.

The Big Ten Conference and Atlantic Coast Conference announced Thursday the games for the 19th annual event.

Miami is 1-1 against the Golden Gophers all-time and 5-5 in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge since 2005.

The Hurricanes defeated Minnesota 73-68 in Coral Gables in 2009.

This will be Miami's first trip to Williams Arena. The Hurricanes are 4-1 in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge at home but just 1-4 on the road.

Miami is riding a three-game winning streak in the conference grudge match, defeating Illinois, Nebraska and Rutgers.

The Hurricanes fell 78-58 to Michigan State in the first round of last season's NCAA tournament.

Dates and times of the Big Ten-ACC Challenge will be announced later.
