MIAMI - FIU players were picked in the Major League Baseball draft on Wednesday.

FIU's Jabari Henry was drafted by the Seattle Mariners.

The outfielder was taken in the 18th round.

Henry is a former freshman All-American and First-Team All Sun Belt Conference.

During his time at FIU, Henry batted .283 with 34 home runs and 130 RBI.

He's fourth all-time on the school's home run list.

Pitcher Mason McVay was picked in the 26th round by San Francisco.

Infielder Mike Martinez was taken by Houston in the 36th round.
