Miami Beach police said the Hurricanes were standing in the middle of the 100 block of Eighth Street and refused to move despite repeated commands from officers.

According to an arrest affidavit, Darling and Jones ignored the officer's commands to move "on seven occasions."

Darling, 20, was the starting left tackle for the Hurricanes last season. The Miami Central Senior High School graduate tied for the third-fewest sacks allowed of any Atlantic Coast Conference team in 2015.

Jones, 19, redshirted last season after transferring from ASA College in Brooklyn, New York.

Miami-Dade County online jail records show that both players were released from the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on $1,000 bond.

Local 10 News has contacted the University of Miami seeking comment.
