Hurricanes, Seminoles to meet on Local 10 in prime time

MIAMI – The countdown is on for the annual rivalry game between the Miami Hurricanes and Florida State Seminoles.

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Thursday that the UM-FSU game Sept. 16 will be an 8 p.m. matchup. It will be broadcast on Local 10.

Miami hasn't defeated FSU since 2009 in Tallahassee, where this year's game will be played.

FSU beat Miami 20-19 last season on a blocked point-after try famously known as the "Block at the Rock."

Miami leads the all-time series 31-30, but the Seminoles have won seven straight and 10 of the last 12 meetings.
