MIRAMAR, Fla. - What was supposed to be a fun football game for 12-year-olds turned into a brawl over the weekend.

Punches flew in the field Saturday after a game played between the Davie Broncos and the Miramar Wolverines.

A fan shooting home video of the football game captured the ugly scene from the stands.

According to representatives from the American Youth Football League, the fight began when a coach from the winning team, the Broncos, went over to the Miramar side to brag about the victory.

Before long, a wave of angry players and coaches were on the field, pushing, shoving and punching.

"Several of our officers responded to an incident at this park. Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of cooperation when we got there. The investigation is ongoing," Miramar police spokeswoman Tania Rues said.

No arrests have been made, but the organization  who manages both teams, the AYFL, took quick action.

Joel Greenberg, vice president of the executive board for the AYFL, said seven people have been expelled from the league. That includes both coaches, players and parents.

Both group leagues have also been placed on probation.
