MIAMI - Canes guard Shane Larkin is on the ballot for a big, national award.

Larkin has been named a finalist for the John R. Wooden award.

Right now, there are 15 student-athletes up for the award.

In the regular season, Larkin averaged 13.7 points, 4.4 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.0 steals in 36.2 minutes per game.

The Canes won their first ever ACC regular season championship by beating Clemson on Saturday.
