Led by head coach Mario Cristobal, Miami enters the season looking to build on its historic 2025 campaign, when the Hurricanes reached the College Football Playoff National Championship game before falling to Indiana at Hard Rock Stadium.

The Hoosiers were led by quarterback and Miami native Fernando Mendoza, who was selected No. 1 overall by the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2026 NFL draft.

Miami opens the 2026 season against Stanford on Sept. 4.

Quarterback Darian Mensah will lead the Hurricanes after transferring from Duke last season, along with key players, including running back Mark Fletcher Jr. and wide receiver Malachi Toney.
