MIAMI — Inter Miami CF interim manager Guillermo Hoyos is expected to be replaced by former Argentine player Cristian “Kily” González, according to Argentine sports journalist César Luis Merlo.

The news comes on Thursday after Major League Soccer suspended Hoyos for one match for violating the MLS’s Late Kickoff Policy. The punishment comes after Miami would take too long to return to the field following breaks.
Hoyos will serve his suspension Saturday but will not return to the club as head coach.
Inter Miami was also fined by MLS.
Gonzalez, 52, played for Argentine clubs Rosario Central and Boca Juniors, Spanish clubs Zaragoza and Valencia, and Italian giants Inter Milan during his playing career from 1993 to 2011.
He has coached three clubs, all in Argentina: Rosario Central, Unión and Platense.
He comes to Miami after the club has failed to win its last five matches.
