Reports: Marlins to trade Adeiny Hechavarria in days

MIAMI – After four-plus seasons with the Marlins the days in Miami might be numbered for Cuban star Adeiny Hechavarria who will reportedly be traded very soon.

Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports reported on Thursday that the shortstop will be traded in the next few days and that several other Marlins are also on the trading block including All-Star closer A.J. Ramos, David Phelps and Kyle Barraclough.

Hechavarria, who's currently on the disables list, will be arbitration eligible in 2018. 

The Miami Herald also stated the Fish were shopping the slick-fielding Cuban product.
