MIAMI – Marlins President David Samson will once again be putting his physical fitness to the test.
According to BusinessWire, Samson will head a team called "Hold the Plane" in next year's World Marathon Challenge.

The Challenge starts in Antarctica on Jan. 30, 2018 and ends in Miami on Feb. 5.
The event will raise money for several charities including the Marlins Foundation.
During a 168-hour period, events will take place in Antarctica, South Africa, Australia, UAE, Spain, Colombia, and Miami.
Samson's team will include Jeff Conine and Michael Hill from the Marlins organization.
Samson had previously participated in the television show Survivor and is an avid runner.
