Heat center Hassan Whiteside snubbed by media in All-NBA vote

Media voted Whiteside as 7th best center

MIAMI – The Miami Heat had zero players voted to the All-Star game this past season and on Thursday the Heat had zero players appear on the All-NBA teams, as voted by the media.

The glaring omission was Miami center Hassan Whiteside who averaged more points (17 ppg) and rebounds (14.1 rpg) than most of the centers voted ahead of him despite playing through a serious hand injury for a portion of the regular-season.
