NCAA: No. 2 Tennessee wins in OT

No. 2 Tennessee won a trip to the Sweet 16 Sunday by beating No. 10 Iowa 83-77 in overtime the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Admiral Schofield led the Volunteers with 19 points and Jordan Bohannon led the Hawkeyes with 18 points.

Tennessee is now 31-5 this year as it heads into the round of 16 for the first time since 2016.

The Volunteers took a 44-19 lead in the opening half but the Hawkeyes managed to come back and send it into overtime tied at 71-71. It was the first overtime game of this year’s tournament, The Associated Press reported.
