NCAA tournament: UCF glides by VCU, 73-58

Central Florida wins with balance

The University of Central Florida Knights Friday night easily defeated the Rams of the Virginia Commonwealth University, 73-58, to advance to the second round of the NCAA tournament.

With balanced scoring across the lineup, UCF was led by B.J. Taylor, who tallied 15 points, and Aubrey Dawkins with 14. Tacko Fall chipped in 13.

VCU was led by Malik Crowfield's 11 points, while De'riante Jenkins added 10 .

UCF, the nine seed, will move on to play Duke, the number one seed. The game is scheduled for Sunday, March 24,
