DAVIE, Fla. – Just hours after Jay Cutler threw his first pass as a Miami Dolphins quarterback, the team was already selling his jersey in the team store.
Cutler's No. 6 jersey was seen hanging from the walls at the Miami Dolphins Pro Shop at the team's training camp facility in Davie.
The jersey, which is silk-screened, sells for $110 and will also be available when at Hard Rock Stadium for Thursday night's preseason opener against Atlanta.
Despite Cutler's recent arrival, the store was able to stock his jerseys so quickly as they only take about 20 minutes to produce.
The training camp store sold only one Cutler jersey on his first day with the team.
Cutler signed a 1-year, $10 million contract to come out of retirement after quarterback Ryan Tannehill injured his knee during practice last week.
Cutler is familiar with Dolphins head coach Adam Gase from their days in Chicago when Gase was the offensive coordinator.
