Dolphins complete huge comeback to beat Falcons

Miami wins 20-17

ATLANTA – The Miami Dolphins completed an epic comeback to beat the Atlanta Falcons 20-17.

Reshad Jones picked off Matt Ryan with 39 seconds left to ice it for Miami.

The Dolphins' comeback started in the second half.

Jay Cutler hit Kenny Stills on an 11-yard touchdown in the third quarter to cut the Atlanta lead to 17-7.

After a pair of costly Falcons penalties, Cutler made the Falcons pay later in the third quarter.

Cutler hit Jarvis Landry on a beautifully designed play to cut Atlanta's lead to 17-14.

Cody Parkey hit a 49-yard field goal to tie the game at 17.

Parkey hit a field goal with just over two minutes left to give Miami a 20-17 lead, their first of the game.

The Falcons were able to jump on top in the first quarter when Matt Ryan hit Marvin Hall for a 40-yard touchdown. Atlanta was up 10-0.

The Falcons went to the half up 17-0 thanks to a 6-yard rushing touchdown by Tevin Coleman.

The Dolphins host the New York Jets next Sunday.
