MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins 5-game losing streak is history after beating the Denver Broncos 35-9 on Sunday.

Head coach Adam Gase is a former Broncos offensive coordinator, he faced his former Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph.

The Dolphins defense got on the board first with a safety to make it 2-0 in the first quarter.

Julius Thomas caught a 9-yard touchdown from Jay Cutler to make the score 9-3 in the second quarter.

The Dolphins defense struck again before the half with a pick-6 by Xavien Howard.

The Dolphins led 16-3 at the half.

In the third quarter, Cutler gave back the pick-6 getting intercepted by Justin Simmons who took the ball 65-yards for a touchdown.

The Dolphins pulled away later in the third with a Kenyan Drake 42-yard touchdown.

In the fourth quarter, Kenny Stills caught a 23-yard touchdown to put away the win.

Miami is now 5-7.

They host the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football.

The Broncos have now lost 8 straight.
