Dolphins to open 2017 preseason schedule at home against defending NFC champions

Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens come to Hard Rock Stadium in first 2 weeks

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins will open the 2017 preseason with back-to-back home games against the Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Ravens.

Miami will open its preseason schedule at Hard Rock Stadium against the defending NFC champions. Atlanta lost to the New England Patriots in last season's Super Bowl.

Baltimore visits the Dolphins the next week, giving Miami consecutive home games to start the preseason for the first time since 2009.

The Dolphins defeated the Falcons 17-6 in last year's preseason game in Orlando.

Miami will face Baltimore for the first time in the preseason. The teams have met in the regular season each of the past four years.

The Dolphins conclude the preseason schedule with road games against the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings.

The trip to Philadelphia will be Miami's first preseason meeting with the Eagles since 1990.

Miami's visit to Minnesota will be its first at the Vikings' new home at U.S. Bank Stadium.
