Gase: Cutler has cracked ribs

Quarterback unlikely to play on Thursday

DAVIE, Fla. – Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler has cracked ribs and is unlikely to play against Baltimore on Thursday.

Cutler left Sunday's game against the Jets in the third quarter after taking a big hit,

Backup Matt Moore came in and lead the Dolphins to an improbable 31-28 victory.

The Dolphins were down two touchdowns in the fourth quarter before starting their comeback.

Head coach Adam Gase said Monday "It's not an easy injury because it's tough to breathe."

Gase said Cutler was wearing custom made pads on Sunday, but it didn't make a difference.
