MIAMI – Darren Rizzi has officially landed a new job after leaving the Miami Dolphins.
The New Orleans Saints announced that Rizzi will serve as the team's special teams coordinator.
Rizzi was with the Dolphins from 2009-2018.
When Adam Gase was fired, Rizzi was considered as one of the candidates for the Dolphins head coaching job.
Rizzi's possible coaching ascent was championed by many of his former players. South Florida fans best know Rizzi for his animated personality on the sidelines.
Before joining the Dolphins, Rizzi was the head coach at his alma mater, the University of Rhode Island.
