MIAMI - The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly reached out to LeBron James.

ESPN's Ramona Shelburne reports that LA called LeBron's agent Rich Paul.

This happened early Tuesday morning after the free agent window opened.

The possible pairing with Kobe Bryant seems unlikely given that LeBron is reportedly asking for max money.

James is not scheduling any meetings with teams right now.

However, the 4-time MVP is planning on going to Brazil for the World Cup.
