Growing up in South Florida, Jordan always wanted to forecast Florida weather. It is fitting that his professional meteorology career began here in Florida!
After obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology from Mississippi State University, Jordan began his career at WJHG NewsChannel 7 in Panama City Beach. While there, he tracked numerous Atlantic hurricanes, including Hurricane Irma in 2017.
Jordan then found himself in Fort Myers at the ABC Affiliate WZVN. He continued to hone his Florida forecasting abilities as well as track numerous strong Atlantic hurricanes, including Michael and Dorian. While there, Jordan earned his certified broadcast meteorology seal from the American Meteorological Society.
From there, Jordan returned home to Local 10 to forecast for his hometown of Miami.
When Jordan isn't forecasting, you can find him spending hours at the dog park with his German Shepherd, Mako, working out at the gym or attending any event with good food!
