Buffalo officers suspended in shoving of 75-year-old man
BUFFALO, N.Y. – BUFFALO, N.Y.Dozens of Buffalo police officers stepped down from the department's crowd control unit Friday, objecting to the suspensions of two fellow officers in the shoving of a 75-year-old protester who fell and cracked his head. The footage shows a man identified as Martin Gugino approaching a line of helmeted officers holding batons as they clear demonstrators from Niagara Square around the time of an 8 p.m. curfew. Two officers push Gugino backward, and he hits his head on the pavement. One officer leans down to check on the injured man before another officer urges the colleague to keep walking. How did we get to this place?”The police commissioner suspended two police officers without pay Friday, Mayor Byron Brown said.
Dana DeLorenzo graced with amazing new series
Im such a fangirl of this show, DeLorenzo enthused in a recent phone conversation from Los Angeles. Almost seeming to defy any sort label, one thing is for certain: With Perpetual Grace, Conrad and Terris elevate the mystery genre. And the absurdity makes it hilarious.By saying absurd, DeLorenzo doesnt mean Perpetual Grace is a farce, but rather has moments where the scenes can be darkly comedic amid some very serious circumstances. What makes Perpetual Grace, LTD. such a compelling story is the characters. Luckily, DeLorenzo said, Kingsley is a consummate professional with zero ego, which made an already satisfying experience on Perpetual Grace all the more worthwhile.
