Watson answered by moving the Texans to the Colts 21. Coutee had five catches for 53 yards and one score before the fumble, and David Johnson had 11 receptions for 106 yards. Sanchez punted in that week's game, a loss to Tennessee.

Miami in the NFL: Week 12

Thanksgiving, COVID-related disruptions and star quarterbacks dominated the headlines in Week 12 of the 2020 NFL Season. Even in defeat, safety Rayshawn Jenkins had a team-high 11 tackles, including one and a half for a loss. For Buffalo, safety Jaquan Johnson had a single tackle. Running back Duke Johnson led the Houston Texans in rushing in a 41-25 Thanksgiving Day win at Detroit. Falcons defensive end Allen Bailey had a single tackle in a 43-6 blowout win over the Raiders at home.

Eagles get Jeffery, Sanders back for game against Giants

The NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles have gotten healthier on offense in time for another division game. Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is back in Philadelphia’s lineup against the New York Giants, his first action since foot surgery last year. Running back Miles Sanders, the Eagles' leading rusher, is also back after missing three games with a knee injury. Okung will miss his fifth game this season because of injury, so Dennis Daley starts, protecting Teddy Bridgewater’s blindside. The Buccaneers are playing without left guard Ali Marpet, who will miss his second consecutive game with a concussion.

Chiefs begin title defense with 34-20 victory over Texans

That run includes a come-from-behind 51-31 victory over the Texans in the divisional round of the playoffs. The Texans' Deshaun Watson threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score, but he also was under relentless pressure and was intercepted once. The elusive Johnson finished it off by scampering 19 yards to the end zone for a 7-0 lead. Watson threw a touchdown pass and ran for a TD later in the quarter to make the final score a bit more respectable. The teams then stood together in a line that stretched from one end zone to the other for a moment of silence before the coin toss.

As a child growing up in Georgia, it was always my dream to play in the NFL, Watson wrote in the post. In his post Watson thanked Texans coach and general manager Bill O'Brien and many members of the team's staff as well as his mother and other family members before sending a message to Texans fans. Now back to the work ..."Houston traded up to select Watson with the 12th overall pick in the 2017 draft.

You at least heard him at games with that sonic-boom voice of his, as I wrote in a column about him. Duke Johnson died last Friday at 53 after a respiratory illness that dated to December. A lot of things make up a good sports event. For years, he did his part.
