2 vehicles scorched outside home in northwest Miami-Dade
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Two vehicles were scorched overnight in a fire in northwest Miami-Dade. The incident unfolded in the area of Northwest 104th Street and Fifth Avenue. “It sounded like very loud popping noises,” Jonathan Jimenez, who lives next door to where the fire occurred, said. Jimenez said part of a nearby pickup truck was also melted by the flames. Police officers at the scene said they knocked on the door of the home that the vehicles were parked outside of but no one was home.

Fire erupts at warehouse in northeast Miami-Dade; multiple businesses affected
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Firefighters extinguished a fire that erupted Wednesday morning at a warehouse in northeast Miami-Dade. Three firefighters were standing on the roof, assessing the situation as other firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze from the ground. The warehouse was used for various businesses, and items such as wholesale clothing, souvenirs, home goods and perfumes were inside the building. Ad“I believe everything is gone because of the water -- it’s a perfume business,” one business owner said. The cause of the fire is unclear at this time, but firefighters believe it started in the back of the building.
Hollywood pastor believes church fire was intentionally set
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Authorities are investigating a fire that broke out overnight at a church in Hollywood. “We’ll come together and fix this and just praise God for his goodness,” Pastor Justin Severson said. Severson told Local 10 News that he got a call from Hollywood police around 1:30 a.m. Thursday, saying his church, the Church of Jesus Christ, had caught fire. The pastor said he’s grateful someone passing by the church noticed the fire and called 911 right away, so firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire to the entrance of the church. “We’ve had a case before were somebody threw a (Molotov) cocktail at the window, so yes, it’s under investigation,” he said.
Townhouse fire in Pembroke Pines displaces families, kills cat
PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A fire that broke out Tuesday morning at a townhouse in Pembroke Pines — and then reignited hours later — is believed to have been caused by an electrical problem, authorities said. AdThe Red Cross said it is helping coordinate emergency aid to 10 families affected, including 18 people. According to Pembroke Pines police, officers and firefighters arrived at the scene to find smoke and flames coming from one of the townhomes. The Red Cross and the police department’s victim’s advocate are assisting the displaced families. A GoFundMe page has been created to directly assist the families affected by Tuesday’s fire in Pembroke Pines.
Body discovered after firefighters called to rubbish fire in northeast Miami-Dade

One woman who lives in the area told Local 10 News reporter Annaliese Garcia that she woke up around 5 a.m. and saw flames, so she called the fire department. “A body burnt?
