Smith, error-prone Seahawks struggle in 27-11 loss to Bears

Geno Smith did little to distinguish himself in his battle with Drew Lock for Seattle’s starting quarterback job as the sloppy Seahawks fell 27-11 to the Chicago Bears in the second preseason game for both teams.

Seahawks win 38-30 to spoil Cardinals shot at NFC West title

Russell Wilson threw three touchdown passes, Rashaad Penny ran for 173 yards and a touchdown, and the Seattle Seahawks spoiled a shot at the NFC West title for the Arizona Cardinals by beating them 38-30 on Sunday.

Washington beats Wilson, Seahawks 17-15 for 3rd win in a row

Kendall Fuller intercepted Russell Wilson’s pass on a 2-point conversion attempt, and Washington held on to beat the Seattle Seahawks 17-15 for the team’s third consecutive victory.

Watt forces fumble in overtime, Steelers edge Seahawks 23-20

Pittsburgh Steelers past the Seattle Seahawks 23-20.

King Henry leads Titans' late rally to stun Seahawks 33-30

Derrick Henry ran for 182 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns, Randy Bullock hit a 36-yard field goal midway through overtime, and the Tennessee Titans rallied from a 14-point deficit to stun the Seattle Seahawks 33-30.

No. 10 Florida will be without top 4 pass catchers in Cotton

10 Florida will be without its top four pass catchers in the Cotton Bowl against eighth-ranked Oklahoma. Receivers Trevon Grimes and Kadarius Toney announced Monday they are skipping the game in Arlington, Texas, to prepare for their NFL futures. Their absences leave Florida trying to replace four guys who combined to catch 174 passes for 2,778 yards and 34 touchdowns in 2020. Pitts is expected to be a top-15 draft pick, and Grimes and Toney also could go in the early rounds. Toney might not be quite as fast as Grimes, but he's one of the shiftiest players in the country.

Seahawks stuff Newton on final play, beat Patriots 35-30

Collier stuffed Cam Newton at the 1-yard line on the final play, and the Seattle Seahawks held off the New England Patriots 35-30 on Sunday night. But Newton took over the final minutes and yet another Seahawks-Patriots matchup was decided in the closing moments on a play snapped at the 1. On the final play, Newton tried to run power to the left, but was upended by Collier in the biggest play of his young career. The entire night in a normal setting would have left CenturyLink Field shaking with delirium, especially after the final play. Newton found Harry but was stopped at the 1 and New England used its final timeout, setting the stage for the final play.
