Lavish, litter-leaving gender reveal did not have proper permit, nor did anyone clean up the mess
HAULOVER BEACH, Fla. – Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation did not have any knowledge on a beachside gender reveal party over the weekend that has since received quite a bit of attention. Part of a South Florida beach was blocked off and confetti cannons, amongst other celebratory items, were used by partygoers. Local 10′s Layron Livingston exclusively reported on the gender reveal party on Monday. This was to be the gender reveal of all gender reveals, with a helicopter releasing blue powder over the water. As for the gender reveal, the non-profit reported it to the county’s Department of Environmental Resource Management.
Fatal boat crash investigation continues in Broward, Miami-Dade
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The death of Zach Forte in the Baker’s Haulover Inlet area remains under investigation on Friday in both Broward and Miami-Dade counties. After a massive search involving the U.S. Coast Guard, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, investigators found Forte’s lifeless body on Thursday. The search for Forte’s body took more than 12 hours. Joanne McLaughlin, who was in the area during the massive search, said she saw a woman who appeared to be the survivor of the crash.
