Boy, 8, rushed to hospital after being struck by car in Fort Lauderdale, cops say
A child was struck by a car Saturday in Fort Lauderdale and transported to a nearby hospital as a trauma alert, according to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials.
Although Gov. Ron DeSantis said COVID-19 testing during the coronavirus pandemic is free of charge in Florida, the Larkin Community Hospital’s Cardiotropic Labs has been charging $150 per test.
