HIALEAH, Fla. – A crash involving multiple vehicles shut down southbound lanes of the Palmetto Expressway Thursday morning in Hialeah.
The crash was reported shortly before 10 a.m. near the West Okeechobee Road exit.

Sky 10 was above the scene and saw at least two cars involved in the crash on opposite ends of the highway.
A photo taken by a Local 10 News viewer also shows a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue helicopter approaching the scene to airlift at least one patient.
It's unclear how many people were injured.
