MIAMI – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Friday after two cars collided in Miami, authorities said.
The crash was reported about 3:45 p.m. in the area of Northwest 68th Street and Sixth Avenue.
Miami Fire Rescue Capt. Ignatius Carroll said paramedics performed CPR on the woman at the scene.
The woman, who is in her 60s, was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in serious condition.
Three people inside the cars were also taken to the hospital, although their conditions were not serious, Carroll said.
It's unclear which driver was at fault or whether anyone will be cited.
The crash remains under investigation.
