MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade firefighters rescued two people who were trapped inside vehicles after a crash Wednesday night at Northwest 27th Avenue and Northwest 84th Street, officials said.
Rescue crews used the Jaws of Life to free one person in a red vehicle, Erika Benitez, a spokeswoman for the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, said.

A second person was also freed from another vehicle at the crash site.
Both people were taken to an area hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
