Dozens protest near Trump International Beach resort

Police: After 2 hours of traffic delays, Sunny Isles Beach 'returned to normal'

SUNNY ISLES, Fla. – Dozens of #NotMyPresident protesters took their signs to the vicinity of the Trump International Beach Resort property in Sunny Isles Beach on Friday night.

They marched on Collins Avenue near the Trump towers at 18001 Collins Avenue. With only one lane open, there were some traffic delays. Police also reported traffic delays in the area due to a bridge malfunction near 163rd Street and Collins Avenue.

The protesters carried the same banner --  "Dump Trump. No Hate in FL" --  they used during the downtown Miami protest last week, when #NotMyPresident protesters blocked traffic on Biscayne Boulevard, MacArthur Causeway and Interstate 95.

Since Election Day in South Florida, there have also been #NotMyPresident protests in Fort Lauderdale and Miami's Wynwood neighborhood.
