AVENTURA, Fla. – A pedestrian died Monday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon in Aventura.
Sky 10 was above Ives Dairy Road at Biscayne Boulevard shortly after 4 p.m. and saw a tarp covering a body near the median of the busy roadway.
Aventura police confirmed that officers are at the scene investigating.
Local 10 News reporter Carlos Suarez said the driver of a black Hummer was speaking with investigators at the scene.
Heavy traffic delays were reported in the area because of the crash.
No other details were immediately released.
