Sky 10 was above the scene shortly before 10 a.m. and saw two people with neck braces on and a firefighter holding a newborn baby, who seemed to be fine.

A woman was taken away on a stretcher while holding the baby and was put into an ambulance.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said one car was broken down in one of the lanes when other vehicles slowed down behind it.

Troopers said the vehicles were struck from behind by a recycling truck.

Four people were taken with minor injuries to Broward Health Medical Center.

The ramp to I-595 was shut down while the vehicles were removed from the highway.
