MIAMI – The Miami Passport Agency will open several temporary locations after water damage prompted its indefinite closure.
Beginning Monday, several temporary locations will serve passport applicants who are traveling out of the country in eight to 20 days.
Travelers leaving the country in seven days or less must apply at another passport agency. The nearest locations to Miami are in Atlanta and New Orleans.
Appointments must be made by calling the National Passport Information Center at 877-487-2778 or 888-874-7793.
Temporary location hours and days of operation will vary.
